If this is the first time you are thinking of coming to Clínica Hispana Corazón y Vida, this guide walks you through a visit: from the moment you enter at 918 W Southmore Ave, Suite 180, until you leave with your diagnosis, your prescription or your results. No surprises, in your language.
What is Clínica Hispana Corazón y Vida?
We are a family medical clinic in Pasadena, Texas, that sees patients without an appointment and fully in Spanish, with English available too. We are open seven days a week: every day from 9 AM to 9 PM. We do not ask for health insurance; every service has a direct price you know before you see the provider.
Do I need an appointment?
No. We see patients in order of arrival. If you prefer to reserve a time, you can call (832) 930-5551 or message us on WhatsApp at (346) 646-2974 and we will tell you when the wait is shortest. Weekends and evenings are usually the busiest.
What should I bring to my first visit?
- Photo ID (any country is accepted).
- A list of the medications you take, or the bottles.
- Previous lab results or medical reports, if you have them.
- Vaccination record, if you come for vaccines or for a form.
- Payment method: cash or card.
You do not need a Social Security number or proof of address to be seen.
What is the visit like?
- Front desk. You register your details and we tell you the price of the service you need.
- Vital signs. Blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature.
- Consultation. The provider listens to your concern, examines you and explains the diagnosis in Spanish, without rushing.
- Tests on site. If lab work, ultrasound or an EKG is needed, it is done here; you are told the cost first.
- Plan. You leave with the prescription, written instructions and the date of your next follow-up.
Which services will I find here?
- General care and chronic conditions: diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, thyroid, allergies, respiratory and urinary infections.
- Women's health: gynecology and Pap tests, pregnancy testing, contraception.
- Exams and certificates: DOT physical for the CDL, immigration medical exam, school and sports physicals, alcohol and drug testing.
- Lab and testing: blood tests and urine, sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis, EKG, ultrasound.

How does self-pay work?
The price is stated before the visit and before each additional test. You pay when you finish, in cash or by card. There are no membership fees and no charge for walking in. Current promotions are on the promotions page.
What happens after the visit?
If your case needs follow-up, we give you the date of the next check and you can come back without an appointment. If you need a specialist or a study we do not perform, we tell you where to go and hand you your records. Your results and information are handled under HIPAA privacy rules.
