Vitamin IV Therapy

IV vitamin drips in Pasadena, TX, given by medical staff after a brief evaluation: hydration, vitamins and minerals. Walk in, Spanish spoken.

An IV vitamin drip delivers fluids, vitamins and minerals directly into the vein, bypassing the stomach. At Clínica Hispana Corazón y Vida in Pasadena it is given by medical staff after a brief evaluation, so the mix and the dose are right for you.

What is an IV vitamin drip used for?

  • Recovering from dehydration due to heat, physical work, vomiting or diarrhea.
  • Replacing vitamins when a test shows a deficiency, for example B12.
  • Supporting recovery after the flu or a period of exhaustion.
  • Complementing a nutrition or energy plan indicated by the provider.

It does not replace a proper diet or the treatment of an underlying illness. If fatigue persists, we first look for the cause with a blood test.

What is the visit like?

  1. Brief evaluation: reason, history, medications and allergies; vital signs.
  2. The provider chooses the type of drip and the dose for your case.
  3. IV placement and infusion in a comfortable chair, supervised throughout.
  4. IV removal and recommendations for the following hours.

The infusion usually takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the volume indicated.

Who should not receive a drip?

People with kidney or heart failure, pregnancy without prior evaluation, allergy to any component, or certain conditions the provider reviews during the evaluation. That is why we do not give drips without a prior consultation.

What should I do before and after?

Eat something light before coming and bring your medication list. Afterwards, drink water, avoid alcohol that day and let us know if you notice pain or redness at the IV site.

Which types of drip are there?

The most common are the simple hydration drip, which replaces fluids and electrolytes; the drip with B-complex and vitamin C, aimed at energy and recovery; and combinations with minerals such as magnesium or zinc. The provider indicates which one suits you based on your evaluation and lab work, and explains what it contains before giving it.

Is it safe to get drips often?

When a deficiency is confirmed, the provider sets how many sessions are needed and how far apart. Getting drips without a reason or too frequently offers no extra benefit and adds cost; the plan is reviewed with a follow-up test to decide when to stop.

How much does it cost?

The drip is self-pay, no insurance, in cash or by card; the price depends on the type of drip the provider indicates. Confirm on WhatsApp at (346) 646-2974 before you come.

Between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the volume indicated. During that time you remain seated under staff supervision and can leave when it ends without needing a companion.

It relieves dehydration and replaces vitamins, but it does not treat the cause of persistent fatigue. If it lasts weeks, a blood test to check thyroid, anemia, sugar and B12 is advisable.
